Our Story

Rose Wang

👋 FOUNDER & CEO, 1104HEALTH

Rose Wang is a CEO, angel investor, serial entrepreneur, and Executive Advisor at AIM-HI Accelerator Fund, a cancer research impact fund.

Rose is highly regarded as an IT strategist and technology entrepreneur and was recognized as one of the “Most Powerful Woman Entrepreneurs” in 2013 by Fortune magazine. She is a two-term Council Member of the National Women’s Business Council, a non-partisan federal advisory council created to serve as an independent source of advice and counsel to the President, Congress, and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) on economic issues of importance to women business owners. She earned two MBAs from Georgetown University and ESADE, an MS in Computer Science from the University of Houston, and a BS in Computer Science from Beijing Polytech University.

Rose founded 1104Health in 2021 following the death of her husband, Robert, from Melanoma.

Cheryl Stratos

👋 CHIEF PATIENT ADVOCATE

Cheryl Stratos was diagnosed with Stage IV Melanoma in November 2009. She enrolled in a phase two clinical trial at UCLA and attributes research and drug development to saving her life. Since her diagnosis, she has dedicated herself to advocating for Melanoma research advancement in hopes of finding a cure. Cheryl currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Melanoma Research Foundation.

Cheryl has worked in the nonprofit sector for the past 25 years. After 13 years with Innovative Associate Solutions, Cheryl left her position as Partner to start her own firm in January 2013, called Media/Convention Sales, LLC. She holds a BS degree in economics and marketing from George Mason University and an AS in association management from the University of Delaware.
